Ralph and Christine

Ralph and Christine Turner perform a variety of their original tunes as well as cover
tunes from the 50's to the 90's. In April 2019 they were in the Personal Studio of Jimmy
LeGuilloux and recorded the album “The First 48” which features 12 songs written by Ralph
Turner. The album is 48 minutes in length. The genres vary from Country, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Classic rock and Rock n Roll.
Ralph Winston Turner was born February 14th, 1971 at Colchester Hospital and was raised in
Debert N.S. Ralph has lived on both the east and west coasts of Canada.
Ralph has been writing songs since 1990.
Ralph married Christine on May 22nd, 2004 in Debert N.S.
Ralph & Christine have traveled several times across Canada and have performed at a variety
of indoor and outdoor events. Pubs, halls, orchards, Legions, and music festivals. They have
performed at Bake Fest Londonderry, N. S. and the Paul Muise's First Annual Ball Tournament
in Belmont, N.S.
Ralph Turner and his wife have hosted many Kitchen Parties and other fundraisers like the
Debert Fire Brigade and the Debert Legion and at the German Canadian Harmony Club in
Kelowna B.C.
March 2005 - May 2006 Ralph took an audio engineering course and received his Diploma in
Audio Engineering at Trend College in Kelowna B.C. He has worked as an Audio Engineer
Assistant for SW Audio in Kelowna B.C.  Ralph has many years' experience playing musical
instruments including but not limited to the guitar, bass, drums, and harmonica. He has
performed at the Battle of the Bands in Yarmouth, N.S. at The Pond and The Engine Room,
Truro N.S. Most recently he assisted the Kelowna Liedertafel Choir by singing tenor/bass at the
song festival in May and October 2017 at the Kelowna Curling Club with his wife.
Christine Turner was born August 31st, 1964 in Calgary Alberta and has been performing in
front of audiences since she was five years old. She has performed in the Christ Lutheran
Church German Choir as well as the Kelowna Liedertafel Choir at the age of 14 years old. Her many
talents include singing, acting, poetry, songwriting, playing the accordion, organ, harmonica and
most recently guitar and bass. She played defense on the girl’s grass-hockey team at Mount
Boucherie Secondary School.
Concerts at the Kelowna Memorial Arena, Kelowna Community Theater and at Prospera Place, Immaculate Conception Hall, Debert Legion, First Lutheran Church, Debert Fellowship Hall, Evangel Church in Kelowna, The Praise Band at Grace Lutheran Church, Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theater, Victoria, Spokane and Portland, Oregon, Lethbridge as well as many senior citizen centers facilities around the Okanagan and NS area. Christine has helped organize
several song festivals with over 300 voices the most recent one in May 2017 at the Kelowna
Curling Club as well as the CATO 5th Annual Student Film Festival at the Rotary Arts Centre, Kelowna
B.C.
Ralph and Christine are excited about their full-length CD and sharing it with the world!
